Select Tools from the menu bar. <br>
Select Email Accounts from the pull down menu. <br>
Select the radio button for Add a new directory or address book. <br>
Click on the Next button. <br>
Select the radio button for Internet Directory Service(LDAP). <br>
Click Next. <br>
In the Server Name field enter the domain name or IP address of the machine where LDaemon is running. <br>
Click on the More Settings button. <br>
Click on the Search tab. <br>
In the Search Base field enter the search base for LDaemon. <br>
To Find the Search Base for LDaemon open MDaemon (If you do not have access to MDaemon please contact your mail administrator for this information).<br>
From the MDaemon tool bar: <br>
Select Setup. <br>
Select LDaemon/LDAP. <br>
Click the Edit LDaemon configuration file button. <br>
Click the OK button on the Program Information dialog that is opened. <br>
This will open the slapd.conf file in Notepad. <br>
Select the Edit menu. <br>
Select Find from the menu. <br>
In the Find what field enter suffix. <br>
Click on the Find Next button. <br>
This should highlight the suffix key and it should have something like the following after it:<br>
“o=Alt-N, c=US”<br>
This is the Search Base for LDaemon. </font><br>
