最近有国外的邮箱管理员给我反映，我们的邮件服务器向他们发送垃圾邮件是由于开启了Exchange2007 NDR，建议我关闭，请问有没有必要关闭Exchange2007 NDR？又如何关闭Exchange2007 NDR?不好意思，找了半天没有找到。

下列邮件是国外的邮箱管理员发的，请帮忙分析分析。
Subject: email problems from China

As I told Randal, the firm in China you are trying to receive mail from is on half a dozen spam lists.  The mail is being stopped before it even reaches Appriver.  Their server is probably sending spam and they don't even know it.  Appriver sent along this information which you might want to forward to your client to help them in solving the problem.  There is nothing we can do on this end.  Until they fix the problem on their end they will have to continue to use the hotmail account to send mail to you.

Thank you for your support request. In an attempt to make sure their spam reaches as many inboxes as possible, spammers are currently utilizing a very large botnet to send out massive amounts of this annoying unsolicited email. This is nothing new, in itself, however this time there is a twist. The spam email even though originally sent out by the spammers (botnets) themselves, are actually being delivered by somewhat innocent domains via deflection or what's known as "backscatter".

This occurs as the spammers forge the return addresses of valid domains in their spam to domains that are still configured to send NDRs (Non- Delivery Receipts) when mail is attempting to be delivered to invalid users. This in turn does spammers a favor by delivering their spam a second time to the forged address they had used. Now you are the spammer too.

Solution - This can be prevented fairly easily by mail server administrators everywhere by simply configuring your mail server to reject mail for unknown users right off the bat at the SMTP "RCPT TO"
command, rather than accepting, queuing and generating NDRs. Any modern mail server will allow you to configure it in this way.

我认为没有必要一味关闭NDR，而是要把为什么会产生这类NDR的原因找出来。
