In Outlook 2002/XP: 
 
Select Tools from the menu bar. 
Select Email Accounts from the pull down menu. 
Select the radio button for Add a new directory or address book. 
Click on the Next button. 
Select the radio button for Internet Directory Service(LDAP). 
Click Next. 
In the Server Name field enter the domain name or IP address of the machine where LDaemon is running. 
Click on the More Settings button. 
Click on the Search tab. 
In the Search Base field enter the search base for LDaemon. 
To Find the Search Base for LDaemon open MDaemon (If you do not have access to MDaemon please contact your mail administrator for this information). 
From the MDaemon tool bar: 
Select Setup. 
Select LDaemon/LDAP. 
Click the Edit LDaemon configuration file button. 
Click the OK button on the Program Information dialog that is opened. 
This will open the slapd.conf file in Notepad. 
Select the Edit menu. 
Select Find from the menu. 
In the Find what field enter suffix. 
Click on the Find Next button. 
This should highlight the suffix key and it should have something like the following after it: 
“o=Alt-N, c=US” 
This is the Search Base for LDaemon. 
 
以上是官方的KB，但是在配置文件里更改后，在控制面板里还应该如何更改呢？
