Sr. Solutions Engineer – MS Exchange
Duration:

Justification:
This critical Senior Solutions Engineer position within Global Solutions Operations will have responsibility to identify, design, build and test use cases simulating real Enterprise customer MS Exchange environments. The Solutions Engineer should have extensive experience working with MS Exchange in a production environment.
Responsible for developing procedures, performing functional and performance tests, and documentation of test results.
Education:
BS Technical Degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline
5+ years experience with MS Exchange in a production environment.
MS Exchange Certification a plus.
Skills:
Hands on experience with System Administration of Windows Operating systems, MS Clusters and Active Directory.
Extensive experience in installing, configuring, tuning and maintenance of MS Exchange.
Good experience and in-depth understanding of backup and recovery methodologies, VSS and first hand implementation experience of backup/recovery and Disaster Recovery solutions.
EMC Symmetrix storage expertise.
Working knowledge of EMC Solutions Enabler.
SAN design and implementation.
Experience with Jetstress and Loadsim tools
Ability to multi-task without compromising quality.
Good customer service and communication (oral and written) skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and also individually.
Duties:
Working cross functionally, with the field, practice and Engineering to capture real life Enterprise MS Exchange Customer environments and create requirements documents.
Develop detailed test plans and build the test environment in the lab.
Execute the test plans and document test results and present findings to peers, Sr. Management, cross functional team and the field.
